Current or Returning Swimmers


Level. 1

  • Guide safety information & Pool Rules

  • Introduce in-water bubbling through nose

  • Develope a preliminary streamlined position

  • Proper freestyle kicking

Level. 2

  • Introduce straight arm freestyle strokes

  • Freestyle side breathing

  • 25 yards catch up freestyle

  • 25 yeards backstorke kick

Level. 3

  • Make freestyle & backstroke in a good rhythm

  • Perfrom symchronized breathing

  • Complete a freestyle & backstroke

  • Able to swim 50 yards freestyle and backstroke

Level. 4

  • Introduce breaststroke

  • Check coordination and reinforce freestyle & backstroke

  • Able to swim 100 yards+ swim in breaststroke

Level. 5

  • Introduce butterfly

  • Develop proper arm pulls & body motion

  • Fully able to demonstrate 100 Indivisual Medley (IM)

  • Introductory head first dive in streamlined position

Level. 6

  • Review and Reinforce all four strokes

  • Competitive head first dive practice & turns

  • Getting ready for swim teams

    (Minimum 300 yards non-stop swim & time standards apply to enter swim teams)
